Even if you ask nicely, they don't generally delete threads in the for sale section. There is no need. As long as you don't unnecessarily bump your thread to the top with posts like "Please delete this thread" and "sold" then it just slips away into the old threads.

Also, deleting the thread, or even your original post, erases the history when checking someone's iTrader feedback.
