        that is a beauty alright, i love old military sporters, especially arisakas. wish i had the room and the money for it. i'm already selling things to fund other things. sure there's some weirdo just as bad as me will snap that up in no time. good luck!

                I believe its not cash & carry if the rifle is sporterized... you might want to recheck that

                  If you could post the link where we all can read that law it will be appreciated.
                  As I understand firearms, the serialized receiver is the actual firearm by definition. All of the other parts shown on that rifle are just that -parts!

                      Thanks 5th speed! All I have to go on, on this is the following:
                      The owner of this is the son of the U.S. Marine (deceased) who captured it on IWO. It was acquired with a Tommy Gun!!!!!!!!!!
                      NO written provenance-sorry.
                      NO IMPORT MARKS, and the MUM is there
