    Pre-64 Winchester 22 Hornet

    Original Pre-64 model 70 with no alterations. Weaver K-8 scope included. This gun was made in 1947, and has a 24 inch barrel. The local Winchester collector-expert says this gun overall rates a 7.5 on a scale of 1 to 10.

              First of all it's a pre-64 Winchester. Secondly, the .22 Hornet is not just a .22(LR) if that's what you're thinking. Do a quick search and check out the .22 Hornet, it's a center fire round and a screamer in Ft/sec!! This is a prarie dog slayer! Pre-64 Winchesters are the cream of the crop in the Winchester circles. HTH c good
