Sold: Colt Officer's Model Match, 6" barrel, 38 Special, in excellent condition, dosen't appear to have been fired very much if at all. No ring mark from the cylinder locking bolt around the cylinder like a revolver gets when it has been fired a lot. No firing marks on the front of the cylinder. Bore looks like new. No rust marks. I recall from the sales tag when I bought this gun used a couple of years ago it was made in 1969.
Note: In light of some of the comments about the Colt be eligible for C&R status I will ship to your dealer but 'YOU' must check first with the dealer to verify this fact and have them emial me with the info. Thank you.
I live in North Hollywood and can meet you at any gun store in the San Fernando Valley for the PPT. I am also willing to travel to Turner's in Pasadena or Ammo Bros. in Cerritos as well. I am willing to ship the rifle but not the Colt. Because the Colt is not on the approved list in California it can only be transfered through a face to face PPT. The only exception would be if you are a peace officer or you have a permit or exemption that allows you to buy handguns that are not on the approved list. If you are in one of these catagories I will ship to the dealer of your choice. The buyer pays all PPT and shipping costs. If you want either gun please say "I'll take it" and then PM me with your info. If you say "I'll take it" you are agreeing to buy the gun for the advertised price and you are agreeing to the sale conditions listed above. I don't want any "oh, since we are here at the store and youv'e driven all this way would you take $50 less?". If you do this to me the deal is off and I will walk out the door with the gun! Please make sure you are serious about the sale and understand the issues with shipping handguns to a dealer for transfer.
Please be sure to ask questions if you are unsure about anything!!! No trades!!!!!!!!
Sincerely, Paul Taylor
