Nice rifle - free bump. You know the EMP .40 is not on the roster right? Doesn't mean there are none in CA but I would imagine the number is extremeley small.

Yes, the addition of the EMP .40 Trade is a bit of a pipe dream. I was looking into the 9 mm, but learned they now make a .40 and I could keep my calibers the same. I called Springfield and through some miracle actually caught the California sales person in the office. She said because of the CA rule on the mag disconnect with the firing mechanism, they have no intention on pursuing approval for the .40. I personally don't understand how it can be that different than the already approved 9 mm. The .40 is heavier though because it has a steel frame, whereas the 9 mm has an alloy frame.
