What is the difference between the USP and a regular compact? I know the reg. compacts are a bunch more money, but why? Thanks!

I think the USP is the "regular" and the compact is the "compact". Or do you mean a regular HK compact and a USP compact? Because I'm lost there too.

The only compacts (that I know of) that H&K manufactures with "Compact" in its name are the USP Compact and the HK45 Compact. The HK45 Compact is not on the roster, it cannot be sold to non-LEO unless through a PPT, and it can go for almost twice the price of the USP Compact (which is on the roster and much more readily available in California). If any H&K experts want to chime in, please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
