          Sweet. I had one of the earlier models in the Matte Blued finish. Good shooter, great CCW gun. For some reason the stainless models are the sought after collector's guns.

                                                      To a non-collector, what is special about this gun other than the words "Night Officer" on the side? Aside from it's alleged rarity, it appears to be a commander-style 1911 to a casual observer.

                                                      Please, I'm giving you an opportunity to brag about this gun and sell it a bit.

                                                          The price is pretty much based on it's rarity+ non roster gun. Most non roster colts are over a thousand to begin with unless there fired alot.. Colts just hold value plain and simple.
