          It's pretty accurate for the type of gun it is .

              Venus=Espana

              As far as I can tell, it's an Eibar Spanish gun, could be anywhere from 1930's to 1960's (?). Probably no spares around if something major breaks, but Spanish guns rock... and none of mine have even come close to breaking despite heavy use. Looks like a fun pistol. I wonder if any of the Baby Browning/clone grips would fit?

                Good thoughts rocketrod. I was just looking at some black micarta blanks, which should look cool. I did some research looks like it's a tomas de urizar make. I'm stoked because it's the smaller version. it's almost the size of vest pocket pistol, but is in 32 auto instead.. cool beans. I've got a colt 1903 which I love, and am looking forward to adding this one to add to the mix.

                  The 1903 is a sweet gun. Hope this looks good beside it! It is really small for a .32.

                    If you ask about this gun on the "Spanish Pistols" forum under www.gunboards.com I'm sure that one of the regular posters can tell you who made this and when. If after 1924, it should have a "date-of-proof code" on it, either a single letter or a letter preceded by a number. There is a sticky on that forum that identifies the year for each code.

                    You might ask about grips on that forum or look at Vintage Grips for some. Neat little gun; I suspect made just post WWI when these "Ruby Compact" type autos were popular.
