WTS Savage A17 Pro Varmint .17HMR, Santa Barbara, Will Ship/Will Travel

    Make: Savage

    Model: A17

    Caliber: .17HMR

    Location: Santa Barbara

    Price: $600 / $850

    Will ship: Yes

For sale is a lightly used Savage A17 Pro Varmint. This is the model with the Boyd's stock, picatinny rail, adjustable trigger, and heavy, fluted barrel. Its the only semi auto 17hmr on the market. Bought new last year, only put around 75 rounds through it. Selling because Ive developed a taste for rabbit and this gun has a habit of vaporizing them. Super fun range gun, can barely feel the recoil and it's a laser out to 200 yards. And the vaporizing would be great if your quarry was a pest you wanted to turn into a fine mist. Id just rather put the funds from this into a new .22LR build for hunting. There are a couple small scuffs to the stock. Otherwise its in very good condition. $600 obo.

The gun is currently fitted with a Athlon Argos BTR Gen 2 6-24x50 APLR2 IR MOA scope. This is a first focal plane, etched, illuminated reticle scope with zero stop turrets. Its a fine piece of glass, which is a must have if you want to see your hits at 100 yards or beyond. I will include it with the rifle for a total of $850 obo.

I also have some non-lead ammo and (2) ten round magazines that will be included in the purchase.

Preference to those willing to meet at Far West Guns, Santa Barbara. Willing to ship at buyers expense. Willing to travel as far south as Ventura and as far north as San Luis Obispo, with buyer paying gas and drive time.

    Thanks for looking.

Fun fact, it isnt the only 17hmr semi on the market. Volquartsen has one also. Good luck with sale, if i saw this last week i would have purchased it.
