I hate to sell this but times are tough. Need money for rent. I had this refinished by a terrible gunsmith so it could use another job. I paid $100 and I know it could be done right for about $130. You could also live with the few nics in the finish. All I can say is don't trust the gunsmith at the San Jose Gun Exchange. He sucks.
I am looking to get $900 for this. It shoots great. I had a few FTEs when it was new but nothing since then. I even put 500 rounds of Wolf through it without a single hiccup. This has about 2000 rounds through it give or take a couple hundred. I didn't keep track but I know how much I bought in bulk from the gun shows. This 1911 comes with four cheap mags, one wilson and one Chip Mc mag. This is one of the models with the external extractor. If you don't like it you can send it back to Kimber and they will replace the slide for free (from what I hear). I never did that since I found the gun shot very reliably and I didn't want to mess with it. This has one of the tightest frame/slide fits I have seen from a production 1911. Come take a look if you are interested. I can drive anywhere on the Peninsula and maybe the east bay for the transfer.
