Apologies for the essay. I’m trying to anticipate questions and avoid misunderstandings. I really like this rifle and have been torn about whether to sell it or not. I am firm on the price.
$2,900 for everything listed/shown. This is a semi-auto rifle and is marked M14 on the receiver. (see photos) If needed, I’ll include an inexpensive case and lock.
link to over 30 photos of the rifle and included items
It was built by SEI to my spec's/order in 2015. (see photos of build sheets) We changed to the muzzle brake on the build prior to completion due to CA firearm laws. This is not an Assault Weapon under CA firearm laws. With a flash suppressor it would have been.
It is in very good to like new condition with about 500 rounds through it. Other than painting the stock shortly after receiving it, nothing has been changed and all parts are as indicated on the build sheets.
I painted the stock with Brownell’s Aluma-Hyde II in OD Green. The finish looks good and has been quite durable. There are photos of it in the original GI brown.
The magazines are: 5 qty 20 rounders that will be blocked to 10 or less, and 2 qty 5 rounders. The 550 cord on the 5 rounders makes them easier to remove, not drop, etc. If selling to someone where high cap. mag’s aren’t an issue, I’ll leave them as is. I’m former LE so it wasn’t an issue for me here in CA.
SEI Scope mount (Link to same on their website) http://www.smithenterprise.com/products09.html
Battle Arms T4 wrench (Link to it on their website. It is not available from them at this time.)
The .30-06 dummy round is to assist with bolt disassembly.
The white plastic piece holds the bolt back during bore cleaning.
GI issue sling, and cleaning accessories that fit in the butt stock.
Payment by cash upon delivery or received and confirmed by other means (PayPal, Venmo, etc.) before I leave for delivery to you at your FFL Dealer.
If you’re not in Ventura County or willing to meet at a FFL Dealer here, I’d want you to send a $100 deposit via an agreed upon transfer method. I will deliver it to, and meet you at, the FFL Dealer of your choice anywhere in CA.
No additional charge if within Ventura, Santa Barbara, or Los Angeles counties.
Add .20/mile to the price of $2,900 for travel from the Ventura County Government Center to the FFL Dealer of your choice anywhere else in CA. ie: To The Guns Store in Sacramento would add $78.60, for a total of $2,978.60 (I don’t know this store, and just searched for one in Sacramento for the example.)
If sold to someone outside of CA, I will ship from one FFL Dealer to another after I’ve received and confirmed funds. Shipping charges to be discussed as needed.
