I have this same rifle with the same exact k-sports box, did it come with a little green canteen bottle and covered in cosmoline? I want to get rid of mine as well and your sale should be a good barometer for me. =) Bump for a rifle like mine! AND im from Burbank!!!

What is the deal with the bayo on these? They were imported without them? Is it legal to add one later?

Chinese SKS rifles before the '89 import ban had the bayonet attached. Ones like the one for sale in this thread were imported after '89 so you would have to play the 922 parts game if you want to legally put a bayonet on it per Federal law.

FYI. CA does not have any laws pertaining to bayonets or bayonet lugs.

This one came with an opaque white plastic bottle. you can see part of it in the pic of the rifle in the box. This had cosmoline on it, but not as badly covered as some of my other SKS variants. I cleaned this one up pretty well, but never took it out.

Now that I think about it, this is the SKS I got "mad" at because it pinched my finger when I was checking to see if the cleaning kit was in the buttstock. (Cleaning kit included.)

Ohsmily, no problem. I just wanted to let the interested parties know it was sold.
