This is a nice little shooter. Works perfectly. I shot Shorts and Long Rifle through it (SV and HV). It eats it all without changing any springs. This is one of very few semi auto rifles that shoot 22 Short. This rifle came out in I believe 1957 and is still in production today. Mine is made in 58 as far as I can tell.
As you can see, it has some wear from all the years but it does not effect it's functionality.
The rifle includes an old 4 power Weaver scope which is a but dim and misses the adjuster caps. Works fine though. See it as add-on. You buy the rifle, not the scope. Iron sites are present and fully functional if you decide to remove the scope.
No, I do not know the round count or the gun's history. I also do not have box, manual, original receipt or hang tag for it.
