I visited Mark.....a very pleasant gentleman to speak with...... and inspected almost all of the rifles he's offering....if anyone might be interested, PM me, and I'll share my observations.

I'd particularly like to comment on that twist-barrel hammer double he's offering.....it may not be too noticeable in the photos, but that one is a real prize......some of the high quality engraving really has to be seen, up close and in good light, to be appreciated.

I've never seen one by that maker before. Its marked as American made, and has no British or other proof marks, which would indeed be consistent with American manufacture, but it would appear to be a very high quality piece, consistent with some of the best British work of that time.

The workmanship which went into that gun was truly excellent, and the lockup is a rather impressively unusual system.....its not only bolted on the barrel lumps, but has an underbite on the doll's head, an elegantly high quality bit of work.

            cheers

            Carla

Sacjesusfreak: Still interested in your Harrington & Richardsone .410 Shotgun. Is it a C&R or transfer through an 01 FFL?

shipping is usually pretty cheap. i know when i had a shotgun shipped, it was about $20. it was the standard shipping so it took like 3 or 4 days.
