This rifle is a VERY WELL built M40A1 USMC SNIPER look alike. It was built using quality parts, however it is NOT a USMC SPEC M40A1. Rifle has been test fired only. This sell does not include scope.

Rem 700 SA receiver (trued)
Rem 700 recoil lug (USMC spec)
Rem 700 trigger (USMC spec)
McMillan HTG nonstippled stock (never bedded)
Pachmyer brown basket weave recoil pad
Witichita sling swivels (2)
Kreiger 30cal heavy barrel USMC crown 24" long from the lug .920 @ muzzle
Winchester Model 70 trigger guard (modified to fit stock correctly)
Winchester Model 70 hinged floor plate (modified to fit stock correctly)
Unitized scope base with 1" rings (modified to fit receiver)
As the builder stated to me "even though this gun is not a milspec gun, it is a very nice (M40A1 inspired) Remington rifle ". This is a brand new barrel and will need to be black oxide finished.
