Superb mint-condition classic model 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield, and built under contract in July 1942 by Remington Arms with serial number 3178XXX. This rifle is in beautiful like-new unissued condition with no signs of wear, maintaining an arsenal Parkerized steel finish and pristine type 13 pre-C wood stock. Barrel is clean with four sharp 1+ lands in mint condition, marked RA 7 42 with crest along the top. Officially adopted military rifle that saw service in World War I, and remained in service as a standard issue infantry rifle during World War II. This exquisite rifle makes quite an addition to your collection. Asking $1000, but may offset cost with trade. Will meet buyer face to face in S.
