Big 5 Special Purchased a few years ago. I would call this rifle in fair condition, I have never fired it or had the headspace checked. I believe this rifle to bevBSA Shirley, but not sure. Appears to have decent rifling in the barrel, so that's good. Actually, at the time, this was the best example I could find out of about 5 Big 5 stores.
Cosmoline cleaned off and a few dings in the stock were filled in with wood filler. I did paint the magazine and barrel bands with High Temp paint due to surface rust. Receiver is in good shape with no rust. Trigger Guard has the remnants of some surface rust that was cleaned up. I don't think this Rifle is numbers matching.
Included is a box of 20 Remington Core-Lockt .303 Brit rounds. Prefer to sell this to a C&R license holder or tenured Calguns member FTF in or around the San Fernando Valley. I will not ship the rifle.
The price on this rifle was $129.99 a few years ago, and I'm in it for a total of about $180.00 with taxes and fees when purchasing. Plus the 20 bucks for the ammo when I bought the rifle. So I'm firm on the price.
I didn't snap any pics, but I do have a Bayonet for the rifle.
