Marlin 1894 in 44 magnum. Purchased from a collector and it was virtually un fired when I bought it. Very smooth action. I picked it out of over 15 different lever guns he had. Still had the inspection sticker on it. Decided to have the stock oil finished as I hated that high gloss crap from when it was built (dates to 1981) and it came out beautifully. Original buttplate and white spacer. No sling swivels or extra holes...just the bullseye.
Added a new set of XS ghost ring sights. Added a new XS scout lever rail. Added a new leupold fx 2.5 scout scope and new leupold quick release rings which holds zero even after removal and reinstalling. Added a new Wild West guns happy trigger (black). No bunged screws very clean drop in parts installation. I would be surprised if you can find a cleaner one in this kind of shape. Have all boxes and packaging from leupold ww guns etc...
I have all the take off parts included in the sale. From the original trigger to the hooded ramp front sight. You can put it all back if you want.
I have never hunted this gun. Range toy maybe four or five times. Worked up a load using Barnes 200 grain bullets. Have 80 or so rounds of these to go with it (Sold as components only. I can pull the bullets if you want). Shoots nice. One set of touching holes at my 25 yards and I am not the greatest shot. Once I shot it out to 50 yards and groups were still very tight.
Have dies to go along with it as well as 200-250 pcs of brass. About half is once fired and the rest is new.
Also have around 400 jacketed projectiles ranging from 180 grain (200) to 200 grain (200) . 3 boxes hornady and one box of Sierra. Good stuff to play around with other loads I never got around to.
I also will include a nice boyt case it fits nicely.
Hate to let it go, but I am after a very special "Grail" gun right now and need the scratch. Will ship. Los Angeles area FFLs are easiest for me.
Dropped to $1000 firm. pm me for my number and I will text more pics, or email them if you prefer.
