    Make: Ruger

    Model: Mini 14 SS

    Caliber: .223

Location (city or county): San Diego

Trade: 1911, 45 ACP, full size

    Sell: $650

    Will ship (Y/N): No ship

Other info: I wanted to shoot USPSA-style carbine matches without the California hassle about assault weapons. So, I bought this Mini 14 from another CalGunner. I learned that it is not the right carbine for action shooting that requires fast magazine changes and red-dot scopes.

The sale includes four 10-round Ruger magazines, THE ONLY magazines that work reliably in the Mini 14. It also has a 5-round Ruger magazine.

Based on the serial number, I think this is from 2003 production. It is a clean, well maintained rifle.

I have no idea how many rounds through it. I shot about 200 rounds installing new M1A style sights. Then I shot a match of about 200 rounds.

              Changed from WTS to WTT.

Anybody out there have a 1911 that has been sitting in a safe that should be turned into a Mini 14?
