I saw it several days ago. It's on the new gun rack and still has the Browning barrel sticker on it. 3K is a lot of money "used or new".

What a nice shotgun. I've held it several times when at JG. I don't know if you've sold guns to Cabela's before, but be aware that I have had a friend who was told over the phone by the guy in charge of the Cabela's Gun Library that they would pay him 2/3rds of the retail value of the gun. So, we went to Cabelas and 2/3rds retail of this particular rifle should have been $1500. Cabela's offered $900. They base retail value not by the blue book, but by a system used by Cabela's to determine retail value. Since he drove all the way from the Bay Area to Reno, he ended up selling the rifle for $950. Several weeks later it showed up online at Cabelas for $2199.

Unless you've got to cash out on the shotgun right now, maybe you should pull it from JG (you will need to re-DROS it back into your name as they've had it for more than 30 days). Wait until July or August and list it on Calguns as club pheasant season begins in September. Whatever you sell it for at JG, they get 20%. So, if you list it on CG for $2500, that's $2500 in your pocket.
