Yes, if I remember correctly it only came with one mag. As for the flash hider, I just checked and yes it does screw on and off.

This is an illegal configuration. With the short flash hider the gun is now under the minimum california length due to folding buttstock.

To remedy this, put on a longer flash hider or remove the pin that makes up the folding buttstock hinge, take the release button out, put two quarters (US$0.25 cent pieces) in there, put the button back in place, replace the hinge pin. Stock now will not fold and gun is within califonia compliance for overall length.

Don't buy this gun until one of these things have been done.

The cali version features a non removable extra long welded on flash hider, not too much longer, just by about and inch or little more.

Bump! As for what esp1 said, the gun was purchased in ca and is completely stock never modded. A quick search brought up the fact that the assault weapon requirements are for centerfire arms and not .22lr rimfire guns. I think you may have confused this for a sig 552 but it is a 522.
