First up is an antique Hardy & Company of London double barrel SXS shotgun. Looks to be about 12ga, although I could not get a modern plastic shotshell to fit in the chambers. I'm sure the older paper cased shells would work fine. Most likely for black powder loads as the barrel is marked "Laminated Steel". No other information or serial number is marked on the gun. Gun is in OK shape, not much bluing left and there's some rust on the outside of the left barrel. Wood has some dings and scratches, but no cracks or other repairs that I can see.
Although this was a wall hanger for many years, everything seems to function on it just fine. I have NOT fired it, but both hammers and triggers work, both firing pins move, ejector moves, and the barrel lock functions.
Would make an awesome restoration project for a historian, or another wall hanger or prop for the garage.
SOLD
Will ship- no
Unknown age and since it still uses shotshells, must meet at FFL
