After finally getting the perfect steel gun, I now decided I am going to go a different direction. So up for sale it goes...
This is a custom steel gun built up by Randy Lee @ Apex Tactical. It started life out as a Springfield loaded model in 45 acp.
Now it has a Caspian slide, and a STI barrel / comp in 9mm. The trigger is sweet, don't know at what poundage it breaks, but it is around 2 lbs and crisp. IT has an Allchin mount and 8 moa C-more. After Randy was finished with it, I started milling off the extra metal on the slide learning slide cuts. Although the pictures don't show any color, right now the slide is Duracoated in Sniper Green (OD Green), but that can be changed if the buyer wants it another color.
Also included are 6 Tripp Research 10 round mags. I am not sure on round count, but it is well under 5k, I received the gun a few months before this years Steel Challenge.
