Hi everyone, I’m an FNG to this site.
This gun was inherited and I’ve had it for about 3-1/2 years. I shot about 30 rounds through it after I received it and it’s been in a safe ever since. I know that the family member that I received it from was the only other owner. A search on the serial number indicates that it was manufactured in about 1948 or 1949 (series 2). While it’s in excellent condition it does show the wear that a gun this old would have. It also comes with two magazines. It does have some sentimental value but it’s getting no enjoyment sitting in the safe. I’m in the market for a Model 1911 and would also be willing to arrange a trade. I would prefer to do the transfer work in North Orange County but I'm open to suggestions as long as I don’t need to pack a lunch for the day. Thank You!
