This one certainly looks like it has been there and done that. I bought it on a whim from AIM Surplus a while back and planned on having it refinished. Now I have my eyes on something else and this one has to go before I pour money into it.
It was made in 1985 and is not a MKIII. It comes with one 10 round "mouse trap" magazine. I removed the magazine safety but you can re-install it if you wish, as I still have it. As ugly as the gun is, it shoots reliably. All numbers match (frame, slide barrel).
I do not know the round count. I shot 50 rounds without issues for function test.

PPT in Santa Rosa, Cotati, Petaluma or Novato. Not planning to travel anywhere anytime soon. I also ship for $35 from my FFL to yours.

No trades please and no haggling. If you don't like the price, move along....

Yours is a Mark II as defined by the bullnose muzzle and rib down the top of the slide and could be the basis for a very nice custom build by the likes of Don Williams of Action Works in Arizona, Novaks, or other quality HP builders. Don't give up on it yet; there's still plenty of life in the old girl.
