I think there are better (and cheaper) ways to do this. The first is to use the intra-familial transfer form and give the gun to your mom, dad, grandparent, wife, offspring (if over 18). Someone else in the Concealed Carry section was using a method where he pawned the gun since you have to reDROS it.

Sorry to jump in on the bandwagon as well, but I suggest you listen to some of these guys. Unless you're offering someone money for the transaction, I doubt you'll find someone who's willing to put their gun in jail for ten days just to get the same model gun back out. They have nothing to gain from the trade.
