    ALL SOLD S&W 28-2(sold), 36-1(sold), 629-6(sold), Walther P22(sold), Modesto, no ship

It's safe cleaning time and I have some real nice guns for sale. Shipping isn't practical since these are off roster and/or the shipping would be too expensive. I can meet at a local gun store from Turlock to Stockton and Manteca to Oakdale. All of these guns are 99% guns with only the smallest of cosmetic defects; if the photo shows anything different it's just the flash or dust. I am not desperate to sell so I am not very flexible on price. Check my Itrader feedback; I accurately describe what I am selling and I show up to planned meetings.

SOLD First up is a beautiful S&W model 28-2 in 357 mag. This is an S serial number gun S27xxxx. Of course it has a pinned barrel and recessed cylinder like all -2s. This is a 6 inch gun with near 100% blueing. There is a slight turn line on the cylinder but otherwise the blueing is exceptional. It has a grooved trigger, and a wide, checkered hammer. Functionally, it is perfect with a nice smooth action and crisp trigger. Grips are nice with a few diamonds missing and a minor bump or two. No box or tools come with this gun. This is a very difficult gun to find in this condition in CA. Asking $750. SOLD

SOLD Next up is an exceptional S&W model 36-1. This gun has the less common 3 inch barrel. This includes the original box which has the tear that can be seen in the photo and is a little rough. The original inserts along with the original sales receipt is included ($128.50 in 1977). As nice as that model 28 is, this is even nicer. I have fired a few cylinders through it but it looks unfired. The turn line is almost not there. The grips are pristine. You're not going to find one better than this. Asking $475. SOLD

SOLD The next S&W is a model 629-6 with the 6 inch factory power port barrel. I bought this new after trying the ported side by side with a non-ported gun; I found the porting very effective. Unfortunately, although I shoot my older 29-3 all the time, this one rarely got taken out of the safe. This has been fired way less than 1K rounds. Not much to say about this gun, it's basically a new 629 and includes the factory hard case (not shown). These have been discontinued for several years so they are not easy to find. Asking $800. SOLD

SOLD The last gun for sale is a Walther P22. I bought this gun new in 2003 with the notion that my wife might shoot it someday. That never happened although my sons shot it a little until they got big enough to shoot my bull barrel Ruger Mk II. This was originally sold with a threaded barrel but was recalled (under threat of felony arrest!) and the barrel was replaced. This is another gun that was rarely shot, probably less than 1K. Comes with the factory hard case (one latch missing), second magazine and the interchangeable sights, etc. Since there's no point in buying a 22 if you can't get ammo for it, I'm including a 550 round box of Federal. I have used this ammo exclusively and it performs flawlessly in this gun. Asking $300. SOLD

I'll take the Model 28-2 if, it's still available.
