I was interested in purchasing this gun, but on closer inspection, this cylinder appears to be significantly damaged. Is this revolver safe to be used? An article I found suggests that it may not be: https://www.all4shooters.com/en/shoo...ium-cylinders/Comment

I took it out two to three months ago and had no issues with it for both .38 special as well as 158 grain .357 Magnum. Replacement cylinders are easily available from Midway for $140 https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1004471937.Last edited by Batman; 04-24-2023, 10:16 PM.Comment

I don?t know the seller or quality of this particular gun. However, I think the cited article may do a disservice to the model. I have put many round through mine without issue. I only purchased it after a cousin in federal law enforcement carried it and qualified with it for many years without issue. Now in his retirement it is all he carries. Neither of us have replaced the cylinders. However, out of the box mine had a timing/rotation issue SW quickly addressed. Not my sale and I have no skin in the game other than loving mine and same for my cousin.
