You sure about that 4" bbl length? Taurus catalog lists the Model 605 available only with 2" and 3" bbl lengths.

The 5-shot 357 Magnum revolver Taurus 605 is the standard for concealed carry. Built to our Zero Tolerance standard in design & performance.

You are absolutely correct. I said the same thing to the FFL where I registered the revolver. He Google it, as did I. Taurus website said it comes in 2 and 3 inch barrel. Guess what….it’s a 4 inch barrel! Go figure. Send me an email or text number and I’ll send you some pictures. It’s brand knew. I won it at a RMEF dinner.

As stamped on the revolver, it's a Taurus model 605.

                  UPDATE! Revolver Mystery Solved....I think!

According to Taurus, they never made a model 605 6 shot revolver with a 4 inch barrel. The 605 is a 5 shot revolver with a max barrel length of 3 inches. After doing a "side by side" comparison of the Taurus model 65 and 605, it seems without a doubt that this revolver is actually a mis-stamped model 65. I'd say it's a 99.9999% certainty a model 65---yet, it is clearly stamped as a 605. Kind of cool actually. The Taurus 65 retails for $200 more than the 605.

                  SOLD!
