Full custom 1911 done by Jim Garthwaite. Started out as a new production Colt Gold Cup National Match in 9mm. Mod list below. Shot for a season in USPSA, so has some slide wear on it, but can always be refinished. Comes with original colt case, original flush 9mm colt mag, 1 Wilson ETM 10 round mag, extra fiber optic front sight. Trigger is fantastic, 3.5lb and breaks very cleanly with almost no overtravel and little pretravel. Price of customization was well over $2k alone (the receipt below excludes parts I bought and supplied separately)

- Gold bead integrated into existing front sight
- Kart 9mm standard ramp barrel / turned and crowned flush with bushing
- Heinie integrated magwell (requires cutting frame) - retains same overall grip length as stock
- VZ Alien black/grey grips installed - bottom custom machined to go over the heinie magwell
- C&S single-sided thumb safety
- EGW tool steel grip safety
- EGW gold cup trigger with "tank treads"
- Ball end mill cut slide
- French border slide
- Hard chrome frame, melonited slide
- Deburr edges for carry
- Fitting of tool steel extractor, fire control, small parts, etc, springs
