I am looking for a S&W Revolver gunsmith.
I have a J Frame Model 37 airweight that has a bent hammer stud. This is one that presses in vs threaded.
I need a gunsmith that can install a new one.
It is an early 1960's model that I picked up for nearly free (plus DROS) and the prior owner bent the hammer stud while trying to disassemble it. The gun had been sitting for 30+ years and the oil had gummed up everything and nothing was moving.
Hoping it is a simple fix.
