Ruger Blackhawk 45 Colt 3 screw

Updating my listing after doing some research on this Revolver.

Manufactured in Feb 1973. Ruger Blackhawk in 45 Colt. This is the old style 3 screw with the Brass Grip frame, 4 5/8 Barrel. In very good condition. This Revolver did not come from the factory with the Brass Grip Frame. It was purchased from Ruger and installed. They are original Ruger made Grips P/N MR-3DB see pic with P/N stamped.

    $1900

    Located near Santa Clarita

PPT at Oak Tree Gun Club in Valencia, you pay the fees.

If interested please send me a PM.

Is the brass gripframe original? I did not know that Blackhawks were ever available with a brass gripframe.
My memory and perusal of the 1972 Gun Digest suggests the brass gripframe is not original.

I was surprised too. When I was pricing it out for its value, I found it it is called a Brassie and is very rare. I am going to call Ruger and find out a little on it.

      Thanks

It looks like a super blackhawk frame with the square trigger guard but brass. Almost like one of the original .22 shopkeepers/bearcats from the 60's. Cool gun regardless!
