WTS: Nickel BFR .500 SW, Long Beach - $1800

I'm send you a PM to work out the details.
By what glory does that coinage serve you, sitting idle and cold? By what blessing has the tax-man bestowed upon you, refund or rebate, granting you the vehicle to your firearm dreams, a golden ticket to your nitrocellulose fantasies? Aye..... thus go I, bumping to the top. For you. It's all for you.

Posting an update on this purchase. 24 hours later, no response to my "I'll Take It!" on his post. No response to my PM asking him to set a time and location for the PPT. I took a chance on a newbie selling with minimum history here on Calguns. So far, not impressed.

I sold a LNIB Kimber Eclipse Custom II in 10 mm to be able to afford this. In that deal, I dealt with a flake newbie buyer who picked the FFL and time to meet, but couldn't be bothered to show up to actually purchase the gun.

WTS: Nickel BFR .500 SW, Long Beach - $1800

Update to this post, it's been 48 hours and I still haven't heard from the Seller. Too bad, I was hoping to get this pistol. I even looked for and watched the video about Looper Guns, so I know what this gun looks like.

I hereby withdraw my offer to purchase this gun, so it's available to whoever is willing to wait until ScottBruceLewis reappears. Last Activity: 07-09-2021 8:07 PM. This post is dated 06-25-2021 so it's not like I resurrected an ancient post. It just took me time to get $1800 together. ScottBruceLewis is a newbie flake seller that rarely checks his Calguns posts and PMs.

Well, this winner ScottBruceLewis has been a member for 7 years and has 4 posts. That, coupled with his lack of a response...Don't bother with this nonsense.

@ shychineseguy I understand you are upset but you are breaking the rules by using this as a forum to vent. I understand the seller may have not responded in a timely manner but repeatedly posting here is just...well pointless and that is me putting it nicely.

We've all experienced a pain of a seller or a buyer, hence the itrader. Leave him a negative review and move on. As per a convo I had with ohsmily, it was brought to my attention that negative feedback would be inappropriate for this situation however it seems that neutral feedback along with an explanation would be ideal.

The following is from "Revised Marketplace Rules Rev. 5/11" section 17) iTrader ratings

"Neutral feedback is for everything else, including transactions which are not completed. Use the comment section to describe why you gave the rating you did."

                Thanks for your time ohsmily.

                10) Thread-crapping.
Commenting on a post in a negative manner, called 'thread-crapping', is not allowed. If you think an item is overpriced or of lesser quality, don't buy it. If you have concerns about the seller PM a Moderator or Admin and we can discuss the matter. Thread-crapping will be deleted, multiple instances of thread-crapping will result in being barred from the Marketplace forums entirely.

                11) Discussion and Commentary in For Sale Threads is to be kept to a minimum.
Posting comments such as "Nice gun, wish you were closer", "That's a great deal", "good luck with sale", etc. should be strictly limited. This is a community and wanting to comment positively on a sale or item is an understandable desire. However if it becomes a frequent or regular occurrence it will be seen as a problem and dealt with accordingly. Once in a while is okay, multiple times a day is not. Posts of this nature made by friends or family to circumvent the 24 hour bump rule will be deleted along with the ad. Interpretation of intent will be at the discretion of the Calguns Staff.

For a guy touting the rules, it seems you haven't read them thoroughly; this isn't a negative iTrader situation. It is, however, arguably a situation where the seller should be barred from the section as a deadbeat/absentee seller.
