I have for sale a Sig Sauer P220 in 9mm. Appears to date from ~1976-1977 and is one of the relatively scarce Hawes imports w/ folded slide. It has a nickel coating which I believe is not original to the gun. It has one quirk which is that the hammer does not reset automatically when dry fired, has to be manually reset to half cock. This doesn't affect function when shooting because of course the slide cocks the hammer back automatically. Decocker works as normal. In an attempt to address this issue I replaced the trigger, hammer and sear with modern components, but will include the originals with the gun. Situation appears to be incompatibility of the original hammer strut with a modern hammer, as described here:
I don't feel like dealing with it since it doesn't really even affect function of the gun while shooting but it doesn't seem to be too complicated a fix if you were so inclined. Includes (non original) box and two mags.
I can PPT in the east bay from roughly Martinez to Milpitas, east out to Stockton/Modesto, and also in the 650.
