Off Roster & really rare in CA!
Sphinx SDP Compact-9mm-Green(Krypton)
$2500-
No trades, thank you.
Includes two 10 round magazines, case & all original materials
The CZ 75 is Western Europe’s version of the M1911. If you’re already a CZ fan, and you don’t know what this Swiss made Sphinx CZ75 clone is, look it up. Like so many other Swiss made things, this pistol is a finely crafted object. Like Swiss watches, they are also expensive.
Before everyone screams, I could buy four Glocks for that price, yes sir/ma'am, yes you could. You can also buy four Fords for what a Porsche costs. Same idea.
The SDP, or Service Duty Pistol is (or at least until recently was?) the duty issue sidearm for the Swiss Police and/or Swiss Army.

(please note and variations in coloration in the photos is due to oil. Pistol is 97%)
These are rare in the US in general. There are not many of these in CA. Most of those are basic black. They were imported by Kriss, who’s logo is roll marked or cast into the frames of the US version of these. They are now imported under the name Phoenix. The new importer only seems to import the, also crazy expensive, competition guns.
Fired, but not much. ‘Ballpark’ two hundred rounds through this. It is in absolutely pristine but not perfect 'mint' condition.

9mm DA/SA Two tone Green (Krypton) frame w/ black slide
Leftys be advised: unlike most CZs the decocker on this is ambidextrous & (I do not know how to do this but the) mag release button can be reversed
SA trigger pull is absolutely fantastic on these. A little take up and a nice clean break. This is also a issue duty pistol. The DA trigger pull is heavy and long. There’s lots of places, CGW, CZC and likely several others that customize CZs If you want a lighter ’target’/‘bullseye’ trigger.
Sphinx-SDP Compact-Krypton-Night Sights-02.jpg
This green, (what they called Krypton) version is even more unusual in that it includes high quality Tritium Night Sights! These are unusual enough that night sights for these are expensive and very hard to come by. Ask me how I know this.
The design of these is really unique. The STI’s are the designed/built in a similar way. The slide is steel. The upper portion of the frame is aluminum. The magwell and trigger guard on them is polymer. The pistol ‘looks’ heavier than it feels when you pick it up. When you add a loaded clip/mag, it is nicely balanced too
I have fired a couple of highly customized, and very expensive pistols that are this accurate. With the qualifier that I consider Dan Wessons to be about the top of 'production grade' pistols, I have personally never fired any production pistol that was this accurate. As I understand this, each barrel is hand fit to each slide on these. This would account for the accuracy. It also might push this out of the realm of 'production' pistols and more into the realm of 'semi-custom' to some people's thinking.
All original materials included; case, grip panels, even a nice little take down cleaning kit. Will update with photo of case no later than tomorrow night.
Lots of people love CZ's and CZ clones. If you’re one such person, the Swiss made SDP Compact is the very best of the clones.
Located in SSF/Daly City.
