All springs are original. The gun is super accurate. See the target from the Custom Shop. All 5 shots are touching, and right on target.

Other info: This is a piece of firearm history. In the 1970s and 1980s top competitors considered Les Baer the very finest maker of 1911 Bullseye pistols in the world. For a period of time, he was at the Springfield Custom working his magic on select custom 1911s. Les made this excellent pistol on December 17,1991, and I bought it brand new. It has about 1,100 rounds and is just barely broken in. The trigger is nicer than any other custom 1911 that I have tried recently including Nighthawk Customs. It is still Les Baer stiff and it is impossible to do a field strip without the bushing wrench. This gun has fired many 1 inch groups at 25 yards. See the sample target below of 5 shots fired from a Ransom rest at 25 yards with Federal Premium Hydra Shok. The gun comes with case, the two original Springfield magazines and shoe. Click twice on the pictures for larger size pictures.

Lots of options including bead finished top and bottom of slide, beavertail safety, extended mag release, ambi safety, rear of slide engraving, Bomar adjustable sights, full length guide rod and more. The Kings Trigger shoe (also a piece of history) was professionally installed in 1992. If the buyer does not want it, I will give a $50 credit.
