High Standard Sentinel with interchangeable 9-shot cylinders for 22 LR (fluted) and 22 WMR (unfluted).
*** SOLD PENDING FUNDS *** Please use PM for backup offers. ***
Switching cylinders is quick and easy. Just push in the spring-loaded pin with the included wooden chopstick, release the crane, and pop in the other cylinder.
4" barrel with a Python-style full underlug. It weighs 27 oz. Adjustable rear sight with a fully serrated front ramp. Rounded and polished trigger face to make DA shooting more comfortable. Trigger job and timing adjustment by an old-time experienced revolversmith.
It has nice wood grips, with just one crush mark on the right side. The bluing is "good", but there is pitting in several areas (see pics for details). It actually looks better in person than it does in the pictures. When you pick it up, you'll say "Oh, that's a nice old gun."
A great "fun-in-the-desert" gun with lots of interesting features but, alas, it's not a tack driver. You can expect 2-4" groups at 10 yards.
Package includes just the gun and the original factory box.
Asking $SPF (was $375). (It cost me $165 for the gunsmithing work.) Prefer to meet at NorCal Gun Vault in Rocklin for the transfer. (Short waits and great service.) No shipping within Kalifornia, but willing to ship to your FFL if you live in a free state.
