Make: Smith and Wesson
Model: Pre 27
Caliber: 357 Magnum
Location (city or county): Hayward
Price: (SOLD)
Will ship (Y/N): No
Up for sale is a fairly early nickel 5 screw S&W Pre 27 with 3.5" barrel. This is an oldie but a goodie. It has some finish/wear issues as can be seen in the pictures. This gun came originally from the factory with a nickel finish and it was refinished in nickel sometime ago in its long life. You can see the finish was done over heavy polishing and some pitting under the grips. I was going to send it to Ford's for a refinish and never got around to it. The action is very good on this and it shoots fine, and actually looks better in real life than the pictures show. It has all the matching numbers where they are supposed to be, bottom of grip frame, rear of cylinder, under ejector rod on barrel, and under the ejector star. This comes with a Roy Jinks letter from S&W that shows it was shipped in 1950 with a 3.5" barrel, checkered walnut grips, and a nickel finish. What you see is what you get with this one.
Sorry, no box or paper work for this one, just the letter. I am asking (SOLD) for this and I am in Hayward. The first I will take it posted to this thread followed with a PM gets it. Thanks for looking....
