What are the blemishes on the frame and slide?

appears to be gun oil or lubrication

That's right that is oil on the slide and frame.

I can wipe the oil off and post a new picture

That's probably a good idea. In my experience good, clean pictures will improve your marketing effort here, especially with high value items like this piece. GLWS!!

If someone is complaining about a little bit of what is obviously oil on a gun, then they were never going to buy it anyway.

For your information I just bought an STI off Calguns from another seller, and I am considering this one as well. I'm simply trying to help out the seller here because it didn't "obviously look like gun oil" to me, and at this price point it's important to present the firearm with the best possible pictures.

When selling a Ferrari would you wash and wax it before posting pictures or run it through the mud first?

                      Just my 2 cents.

OP sorry for polluting your thread, I was simply trying to help out, and GLWS!

it pretty obviously looked like gun oil to me, thats why i said looks like gun oil.

i can appreciate the ferrari analogy, but you don't lubricate the paint or exterior of a ferrari to make it run smoothly. the motor is on the inside.
