Smith & Wesson Model 28 no dash, 1958 vintage, 4" (6) shot 357 magnum, with original diamond checkered magnas (wearing Culina's for display only), about 97% finish, with minor muzzle wear on right tip (see pics), and some (2%) bluing loss on bottom of trigger guard. Also one 1/16" spot on cylinder.

Timing, lockup, chambers & bore are excellent! No Box or papers, comes with suede gun rug. A lot nicer than described!

Smith & Wesson post war (1953) 38/44 Heavy Duty 38 Special, 4" nickel (original finish) 6 shot revolver, all matching parts (Shroud, cylinder, butt, yoke, & star). Comes with period correct (not numbered to the gun) magna grips.

Condition is good for 66 year old 38 special, as these were working guns primarily used by law enforcement. There is the normal muzzle & contact wear, scratches, and a dent on one chamber (see pics). The bore is bright, chambers are excellent (and not reamed to .357), and timing is correct! Function is excellent!

The 4" nickel 38/44 is scarce, especially as many, unlike this one, have been refinished.

Collector's grade 99%, a faint turn line, light powder marks on 3 chambers only (as test fired at S&W). Timing correct, chambers & bore bright.

Finish is 99% with minor left shoulder scuff under grip (see photo). No muzzle wear, light turn line, excellent chambers and bright bore. Timing correct!

The box is torn on all corners & taped, but original label intact. The box contains wax paper, unopened tool kit, Model 24 catalog/parts list, warranty card, etc.

The grips are excellent and checkering is sharp.
