Took some tough thought, but decided to sell my Colt. It’s a Talo/Wiley Clapp Government model. 70 Series.Approximately 1000 or so rounds through it. Ver, very light wear on the edges near the muzzle. I tried to capture it, but it keeps getting washed in the ambient light.
Looking up serial on the Colt site, states a 2014 year of manufacture. Pistol is still stock, including the absolutely wonderful Pete Single checkering.
Includes blue Colt Custom Shop box and sleeve, and 2 checkmate 8rd magazines. I’m probably getting out of shooting 45/1911’s; if the potential buyer is interested, I can take a quick inventory of all the extra mags and .45 ammo and work out some sort of package deal. I figure if got about 6-800rds of ammo and somewhere in the area of 20 magazines.
