Make: Heckler and Koch
Model: USP Tactical
Caliber: .45 ACP
Location (city or county): Orange County
Price: $1750
Will ship (Y/N): Yes
Other info: Comes with original HK factory Tactical threaded o-ring barrel with matching serial numbers (not currently installed because of CA law) as well as standard (non-threaded) USP barrel (installed).
This is your chance to buy an almost-impossible-to-obtain-in-CA genuine Heckler and Koch USP TACTICAL model in .45 ACP. The Tactical models came from the HK factory with an upgraded barrel which has an o-ring (for better lock-up and enhanced accuracy) as well as threaded for use with various muzzle devices such as compensators, flash suppressors, and sound suppressors. This barrel is included in this package, but is currently not installed because the threaded portion would meet the definition of an assault weapon in California. So instead, I bought and installed a used standard USP barrel, which now makes this rare-as-a-unicorn-horn handgun legal for private party transfer in California. This pistol will come with three HK factory 10-round mags. As for the case, it’s an HK foam-lined, black plastic case with red and white logos and lettering.
Factory enhancements of the Tactical USP model over the standard USP include:
* O-ring barrel (for more consistent lockup and improved accuracy)
* Fully adjustable rear target sight (to precisely match your preferred ammo POI)
* Taller front sight (to raise line of sight above muzzle devices)
* Threaded barrel (to attach muzzle devices)
* Target trigger with over-travel adjustment (for smoother function and faster follow-up shots)
* Target hammer (for smoother felt trigger pull)
I’ll also throw in a compensator specifically threaded to match the thread pitch on the Tactical barrel, as well as a threaded solvent trap adapter (not seen in photo).
Feel free to email with any questions but please note that whoever actually posts an “I’ll take it” gets priority over anyone in the question-asking stage. (As you can probably tell, I’ve had that come up before.)
In case you’re wondering, I’m not interested in any trades... except maybe for a CZ 75 Tactical Sport Orange in 9mm.
I prefer to do face to face in central Orange County, but I am willing to ship on the buyer’s dime.
