I have a nice 1943 Colt 1911A1. Not as nice as it could be as it isn't all original. The back strap was changed to a 1911 style, and both front and back of grip have been stippled.
The barrel and bushing were upgraded to NM approximately 1963.
The slide was replaced in the 50's or 60's with a hard slide (probably at the same time as the barrel).
Trigger is upgraded at same time as match barrel and bushing
The gun was used by the Navy shooting team in San Diego, although I have no provenance for this.
Mag is unmarked.
I'll also include a box of 50 rounds of Federal 1911 .45ACP from 1954
The holster (Boyt 42) is being sold separately, but if interested I can include at a reasonable price.
I prefer to do the transfer at Lokey in Morgan Hill, but will consider a dealer in the San Jose area. Buyer pays all fees.
