Here is an an antique Sharps Model 2C 4-shot Pistol, made circa 1866 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The 2C had a very limited production compared to the 2A. There remains about 60% of the original finish. The markings are clear and legible. The serial numbers match. The bores are very good, sharp and clean. The action is strong. The overall condition is near excellent based on NRA condition standards.

This is a US Ordnance Department marked revolver that retains 99.9% of the original blue finish, has a mild turn-ring on the cylinder. Matching numbers are present on the frame, barrel, cylinder, yoke, and ejector. The smooth walnut grips are in excellent condition with the original oil finish. The finish on the hammer and trigger is a bit of a mystery but have been there since the gun came into my family in 1958. The lock-up is tight and the action functions flawlessly. This is an excellent, little-used example of a World War I Model 1917. Serial number shows a 1918 build date. Overall condition is near Factory New based on NRA condition standards.

The wooden display box is also in perfect condition with protective plastic still on the brass emblem. Case hardened finish with brass. It is stamped "BF" for 1995 date of manufacture. Fully functional in amazing condition with a spotless bore. Cylinder timing is spot-on with no play cocked or uncocked. The condition of the wood grips is perfect. 8" bbl. Matching #s on frame and barrel forearm. Never fired! The overall condition is Factory New based on NRA condition standards.
