mid to late 1800's pinfire revolver.
unknown manufacturer. unknown caliber.
i'm guessing northern european in origin.
NO FFL required.
engraved throughout. only 2 or 3 stamps, that i cannot decipher.
i believe the grips are made of horn/bone.
the action seems fine, it locks up pretty tight and indexes well.
the barrel is really hard to examine without taking it apart (which i'm not prepared to do),
but the bore appears roughish. then again its 150-ish years old..
i imagine it hasn't been fired in over a 100 years.
there are places to buy the bullets, brass, pins.
and forums that talk about the powder and primer solutions.
an interesting piece of history. make an offer. no trades.
holler if you have any questions or want more pics.
thanks for looking.
i'm in san francisco
SOLD
