If you aren't familiar, the H&K P7M8 is the world's most over engineered pistol - it can even cycle reliably with the extractor removed. In fact, they stopped production because the costs simply didn't make economic sense in a world of increasingly affordable polymer pistols. A fixed, low profile barrel with gas piston action and polygonal rifling makes the P7M8 remarkably accurate. H&K's famous magazine ad covers the highlights well:
