Make: Bersa
Model: Thunder 9 PRO
Caliber: 9mm
Location: Vallejo
Price: $400
Will ship: No
The first gun I ever owned, that I swore I would never sell. But I'm trying to scrape together funds for a down payment on a new car that I want even more. Tough choice, but somebody will come out a winner because of it.
It has somewhere around 1500 rounds through it, and is in excellent condition. Has been maintained religiously.
The Bersa Thunder 9 is the most overlooked handgun I've ever had the pleasure of encountering. It may not be very well-known but I assure you that it is an excellent firearm. I encourage you to read as many reviews as you'd like. It is solidly-built with an alloy frame, has fully ambidextrous controls (manual safety/de-cocker and slide stop are on both sides, and mag release can be switched), and a great trigger with an absolutely beautiful sear reset. The safety can be activated whether the hammer is cocked or not, which is a plus in my book. Take-down is the easiest of any gun I've ever seen. The overall fit and finish are as good as any gun that retails for twice the price, IMO.
Comes with everything pictured. 2 magazines, a Bersa brand leather holster (left-handed! But even if you're a righty, it's still a nice little home for it to live in if you're using it for a nightstand gun or something). And a bonus slide and barrel in polished nickel finish! OEM replacement parts I bought just for the color. Can be easily interchanged to suit your preference. (Unfortunately the sights on the nickel slide are kinda bubblegum, but you can still hit your target just fine.)
Face to face transfer only, at your FFL of choice. I'm willing to meet you within a reasonable distance (half hour or so) of Vallejo.
