It is like new and it tells a story of engineers taking a risk, rather than going to the tried and true plastic fantastic. Much can be said about this because of the failures of the earlier version however, once Remington corrected the production in 2017 the true strength of this pistol is shown.
It has a steel slide with an aluminum anodized milled frame. I love it because it's single stack it's slim and I can fit my hand, and hold 7 rounds of ammunition, half the size of a G26. It's lightweight, easy to control and has a grip safety as a 1911. The trigger is as crisp as a 1911 with short take up and a very clear release. This pistol is completely milled and has a characteristic weight and very good build quality. It fires off of a semi-blowback retarded breach. It has a fixed 9mm barrel 3.4" long.
I can meet anywhere between Chino and Burbank. Unfortunately even though this gun has been off roster it will never be as popular as it should have been and this is a good example of a perfected Remington R51 for your collection. No trades please.
