I keep buying stuff in the Deals, Sales and Coupons section. Just bought this. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s....php?t=1284219Need to pay for the new toys so I'm selling my old toys.
Starting out with this off-roster .22 plinker from Smith and Wesson. Great little gun for first time shooters. Very accurate, especially with a cheap red-dot sight mounted to the picatinny rail. Inherent accuracy is greater than most shooters. If you miss, it's you not the gun.
Ambi mag release is in the center of the pistol grip. This seems to bother some experienced shooters, but newbies don't seem to mind. Comes with two 10-round mags and the original box. I have some extra mags I will throw in for free if I can find them. They are normally $20 each.
The 22A came in quite a few variations. This is the plain Jane version. Not the 22A-1 or Target. Great plinker. Aluminum alloy frame. 4 inch steel barrel with integrated Weaver style sight rail, ambidextrous mag release on the frontstrap, Serial number UAYXXX.
If you want to take a look at it, I can meet you at Angeles and PPT at Angeles Armory next to the Reloading Store.

Make: Iver Johnson, Jacksonville, AR
Model: Trailsman, Semi-Auto Pistol
Caliber: .22 semi-auto, 10-round magazine.
Location: Glendale, Los Angeles
Price:$199 PRICE DROP TO $175
Will ship (Y/N): No shipping
This is not the Trailsman revolver. It's a semi-auto. The Trailsman is a knockoff of the Colt Woodsman 2nd Generation. The mag release is on the grip frame like a 1911. Comes with one 10-round magazine. Finish is in good condition with a few scuff marks. 6 inch pencil barrel.
From what I've read, parts are not completely interchangeable with a Woodsman. Trailsman was only produced from 1985 to 1986 so there aren't too many around. If you've always wanted a Colt Woodsman but want to save hundreds of dollars, this is the gun for you!
