Is that an older version or the current model of LWRC pistol?

I am confused because it doesn't seem to have the ambidextrous bolt release and safety found on all current LWRC rifles and pistols.... Also, the upper does not look like my other LWRC rifles?

This is the M6A2 version, not the IC. I believe the IC version came after the SSE ban, so almost impossible to get in CA. I haven't seen any IC sold on calguns. There was one sold recently that says IC but it doesn't look like the IC forend. Google the M6A2-PSD Pistol model and you'll find a lot of info and images. There are some small differences between this and the IC, like receiver/forend interface and ambi safety. But the meat of the technology that matters is the same (same coated bolt group, same piston operating system, heavy NiCore treated barrel, removable top rail without tool, etc). Also the lower in this one is forged, which is arguably more durable than the billet receiver in the IC.
